Mistflow Studio

Your native app, actually built.
In two weeks. For a fixed price.

Your code, your data, your app

Built by the team behind Mistflow.

The same engineers who designed and shipped the Mistflow platform sit at the keyboard. Every build runs the same process: a signed brief on Day 2, daily phone previews, a working build by Day 7, and production-ready iOS and Android builds by Day 14.

Is this for you

Studio is built for one job.

A focused v1 of a real native mobile product, built for iPhone and Android in two weeks. That focus is what lets us hold the price.

Right fit

You know what you want to ship.

  • You have a clear product idea and one audience for it.
  • You need a real native v1, not a mobile website or clickable demo.
  • You can spend two short calls and a few async reviews over 14 days.
  • You want to own the code and the data when we are done.
Wrong fit

Better off with someone else.

  • You are still deciding what to build. Talk to a product coach first.
  • You need Apple or Google to finish store review by Day 14. Their approval timing is outside anyone's control.
  • You need regulated medical features, custom hardware, or complex real-time multiplayer.
  • You want a designer-only engagement. Hire a designer.
How we work

Four stages. Fourteen days.

No black box, no Slack-message-and-pray, no "we'll get back to you." Here is the calendar.

1
Day 1 to 2

Strategy

A 30-minute call where we push back. The brief we write together is sharper than the one you walked in with. If we think the idea needs rethinking, we say so before you pay.

2
Day 3

Design

A custom visual identity for your product. Type, color, and tone tuned to your audience. Not an off-the-shelf template. You sign off before we write a line of code.

3
Day 4 to 11

Build

Daily phone previews. A working iPhone and Android build by Day 7 that you can tap through yourself. One operator stays on your build the whole time.

4
Day 12 to 14

Ship

Polish, production-ready iOS and Android builds, backend deploy, and a shareable launch page. Store submission can begin once your developer accounts are ready; review timing belongs to Apple and Google.

The design promise

It will not look like everyone else's app.

Most launched-in-a-weekend apps share the same look. Same gradient hero. Same default font at 16px. Same gray-on-white buttons. We do not ship that.

Every Launch starts with a short brand workshop. We sketch 3 to 4 directions tuned to your audience, you pick one, and that becomes the system the whole app is built in.

Below: three example directions, the way they would arrive in your inbox.

Direction A
Bold & editorial
Direction B
Calm & considered
Direction C
Confident & technical
Pricing

Two prices. No invoices in between.

Launch is the v1. Studio is what happens after, if you want us to keep going.

What we will not compromise on

Three rules we hold the line on.

At $4,900 we cannot do everything. These are the three things we will not cut.

It has to actually run.

No "it works on my machine." A native app tested on real phones, with working sign-in, managed data, and deployed services. If the agreed build is not running on Day 14, you do not pay the second half.

It has to look like a product.

A real visual identity, not a template. Type, color, and tone chosen for your audience. We would rather ship fewer screens that feel right than more screens that feel generic.

It has to be yours.

The mobile code, backend, data, and domain are yours from day one. The app uses Expo and React Native with a documented backend. Any capable developer can pick it up.

Common questions

Before you book.

What does the strategy call actually cover?
Thirty minutes. You walk us through the idea, the audience, and what success looks like for v1. We write the brief together: screens, fields, acceptance criteria, what is out of scope. You leave with the brief, with or without booking. If we think the scope needs rethinking before it can ship in two weeks, we say so.
What if I want to change something mid-build?
Small tweaks are part of the price. Bigger changes get folded into the next Studio sprint so the Day 14 ship date holds. We never silently drop scope. If we cannot fit something, you hear about it the same day.
Who owns the app?
You do. The app lives in your Mistflow workspace from the first commit. You can edit it, export it, hand it to a contractor, or come back to us. No lock-in, no per-seat fees, no "platform exit" charges.
What is outside the Launch scope?
Regulated medical features, custom hardware, complex real-time multiplayer, and AI models that need custom training. We will tell you on the strategy call if your idea crosses one of those lines.
Does Day 14 include App Store approval?
Day 14 includes production-ready iOS and Android builds, a deployed backend, and the materials needed to start submission. Apple and Google control review timing, so no studio can promise the approval date. You also need your own Apple and Google developer accounts.
What if I do not like what you ship?
You sign off on the brief before we start, so the spec is locked in. If the shipped app does not match the brief, we keep going until it does at no extra cost. After launch you have a 30-day window where bugs against the brief are fixed by us. If you cancel after the brief is approved, the 50% deposit covers the work done up to that point.
What do you need from me?
Three things. A 30-minute strategy call. Roughly two hours total across Days 2 to 12 to answer questions and review screenshots. And a domain name, or we can register one for you. That is the entire ask. No daily standups, no Notion docs, no design files.
Can I see progress while you build?
Yes, every day. You get a short written update with phone previews in Slack or email, whichever you prefer. On Day 7 you get a working build you can tap through yourself. Nothing about the build is hidden from you.
What counts as a v1 you can actually ship in 14 days?
Roughly: one core workflow done well, the supporting screens to make it real (sign-in, settings, an admin view), and the polish to feel like a product. If your idea needs five workflows on Day 1, that is two Launches stacked or a Launch plus a Studio sprint. The strategy call is where we draw that line together.
Can I bring my own designer or developer?
Yes. Your team can edit the app in Mistflow alongside us, or take over completely after we ship. The mobile app uses Expo and React Native with a paired backend, all documented for handoff.
What happens after the first year of included hosting?
Your app rolls onto a normal Mistflow paid plan. You can stay on Production at $99/app/mo, downgrade to Starter at $19/app/mo if your traffic suits it, or move the codebase off Mistflow entirely. Same price as any other Mistflow customer, no service fee, no markup. It is your code.

Tell us what you want to ship.

One 30-minute strategy call. We will write the brief with you, name what fits in two weeks, and call out what would need a second sprint. No pressure, no sales pitch, no obligation to book.
